Hey guys,

It’s been a while huh? Well I said I was going to TRY to be consistent. Today is February 6th, and I may be a little late with posting this but hey it’s my blog How was your Christmas? New Year? Mine was something. 2016 was probably the worst year I’ve ever had, but I didn’t come to dwell on past negative things, but to ensure that 2017 will be my year of success! Do you guys believe in New Year Resolutions? I used to, but then I quickly realized that as soon as I make them, I forget them. I’ve done this year after year. I’m sure we all have.

This year I think it’s safe to say that resolutions are a thing of the past lol. However, making efforts to be better people and live better lifestyles are definitely possible to accomplish!

I was speaking to this amazing girl, and she told me she started a bucket list! Most people say .. “ahh a bucket list is just something you do before you die” so “dead” right? Well I did a little research, “Bucketlist” can also be defined as “a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime.” Sounds better huh? One day I’ll give the bucket list another name, but for now… i’ll stick with the latter.

Also, I was browsing the web…(cuz that’s what you do with it right?) and I stumbled upon this blog by Antwon Davis antwondavis.com/100-life-goals/ . He has all his life goals categorized and is currently checking them off as he accomplishes them! How awesome is that?! I’m a visual type person, I love to see what I have in front of me, touch it, feel it’s existence. I can totally see how possible this is! *gives self pep talk*

I’ve compiled a small Bucket List that I really want to attempt to do . However, some of these goals are goals that I would like to continue throughout my whole life. Here goes:

  1. Travel to Costa Rica, Greece, or Cape Town

  2. Go to a different State/City every month and bring back something (souvenir or even a picture)

  3. BE CONSISTENT in something *Life Goal*

  4. Find a coffee beverage that I like, and stick to it

  5. Go to the movies by myself (alone time is the best time)

  6. Go to a music festival

  7. Get a Henna tattoo – a REAL one – Well not permanent but ya know

  8. Find a series on Netflix and watch it all the way through

  9. Get a tattoo that actually means something

  10. RUN a 5K

  11. Color my hair

  12. Obtain a hobby – something I’m passionate about that makes me happy

  13. Learn a new style of art (water color, ink, oil, sculpt, ceramics) TRY them all

  14. Read a different novel every month

  15. Take the GRE

  16. Cook a home-cooked meal (nothing from a can)

  17. Go to a food festival

  18. Visit an art exhibit/museum

  19. Get a passport!

  20. Go on a mission trip

  21. MOVE, venture off… experience life in itself

  22. Pay off all student loans

  23. Save $5,000 (how ironic, lol)

  24. Master speaking in front of a crowd

  25. Pay off my car

  26. Become a MORNING person – Meaning, waking up naturally at 6am to get things done

  27. Become a consistent “water-drinker”

  28. Get my Masters in Health Education (to become a rehabilitation director)

  29. Buy a Jeep Wrangler (any color I want)

  30. Roller Skate on Venice Beach – long socks, short shorts, and a cool hat, allat!

  31. MAKE FRIENDS.. you’re allowed to have more than one friend!! Start a groupme, go our for lunch, take mini trips.. overcome your social anxiety

  32. Become FIT..Become a consistent gym goer (I promise you’ll see results)

  33. Eat healthier

  34. Read and understand my Bible/Grow my relationship w/ God

  35. Inspire/Mentor someone

So here’s to doing new things, meeting new people, learning new things, EXPERIENCING! I vow to turn this list into ACTION.

In all honesty… this blog took me 2 weeks to compose.. I started it on Jan 26th… It takes time to figure out what I actually want to do, I’ve deleted numbers, I’ve added them as well. I’m just excited to see how this will actually turn out. By the end, I know i’ll be $5,000 richer, happier, and cruisin in my new Jeep Wrangler lol… (K maybe I’m stretching a little) but there’s no use of dreaming in vain right? If your dreams don’t scare you, you aren’t dreaming right!!! In the two weeks of me thinking of what I want this bucketlist to be named I’ve narrowed it down to one …….. #Project35 … LET’S DO IT!!!!

-Sincerely Anstacia
